Property Development
As a former time -served builder, Craig Knudsen managing partner of Wilton Overseas, has identified that there are opportunities available for investors to profit by being part of a property development group, developing new build and renovation projects both in the UK and overseas.
Wilton Overseas property development group allows savvy investors to be part of a group that shares the cost of developing new build properties and also properties for renovation, upon completion the profits are either re-invested in to other projects allowing investors to accumulate profits or they can be divided out between individual investors, depending on the percentage each investor has invested.

Viewing Trips
A viewing trip usually lasting 3/4 days, providing the opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with an area, meet the developers and ask questions, view a selection of suitable properties that match your requirements.
Once you are in the country of your choice the developer or estate agent will welcome you, usually by organising a private air conditioned car to collect you from the airport and transfer you to your accommodation. They will accompany you on an inspection of a particular development or show you around a selection of desirable properties. We believe in using only the best developers and estate agents that DO NOT hard sell and provide an informative and personal service, allowing you as the client to make an informed choice as to whether or not to buy a property.
Most of our developers and Estate agents provide subsidised viewing trips.

After Sales Service
At Wilton Overseas we understand the importance of a service that not only offers sales of properties but also the period immediately after a sale has completed, (some overseas agents will finish their service on exchange of contracts). This is where most buyers will find themselves in an open space without immediate support. Wilton Overseas can offer you that support before you get to that open space.
SNAGS – Usually on a new development, the developer will invite the client to go around their property and point out anything they are not happy with before it is completed, this is called snagging. If you cannot attend the snagging yourself, at an extra charge we can arrange for a local inventory clerk to do this on your behalf.
Rental Management – If you are considering renting out your property, we can recommend a local rental management agent who will manage the rental of your property and handle all of the associated services.
Furniture assistance – If your property is not already furnished, we can offer you a local service of either a recommended interior designer or full furniture packs. An extra charge will be made for the installation of the furniture packs
Insurance – This can be arranged through local insurance brokers or national insurance companies.
Cleaning – This can be arranged with a local contract cleaning company at an additional cost.
Foreign Exchange- We can arrange a fixed rate for transferring money with one of our FX partners, ensuring that you receive the best rate possible when transferring money.
